Current – Set out on our grape growing adventure this weekend. I put up the posts for the trellis and planted the starter vines. Current – Back in 2007 I installed a disappearing fountain near the Paradise Pavilion (our gazebo). The fountain is four mushrooms that the water comes up from the center and the water falls over them back onto the pebbles below. Current – Saturday was spent collecting materials for Cindy’s side planters, the new grape vines, etc. This meant a lot of posts, concrete, wire, hardware, potting soil, soil conditioner, mulch, and more. Current – Cindy loves roses. We have tried somewhat successfully to grow them around the property over the years. Once, when we visited the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, we saw a great rose garden. Current – Wow, what a great sunny weekend we finally had! It certainly kicked in the spring fever and encouraged us to start the clean-up process to get the gardens ready for spring.
